The delegation of the National Academy of Public Administration, consisting of acting director Mr Dejan Miletić and assistant director Mr Dejan Raketić, is in Rome, visiting the prestigious Italian university LUISS Guido Carli. The visit is paid on the occasion of the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation, which makes official the previously recognized directions of inter-institutional partnership. This document provides a framework for the implementation of joint projects that will contribute to the exchange of knowledge from various areas of importance for public administration.
During the visit to Rome, the representatives of the Academy participated in a round table and discussed bilateral relations and the rapprochement of the two countries, as well as the reform of public administrations, where the exchange of experiences will be valuable. In addition, political, economic and security aspects of the Western Balkans region were also discussed. In this way, representatives of the Academy had the opportunity to share the specific experience of Serbia in the context of these extremely important topics with relevant counterparts from the region and Europe.
LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome was founded in 1977 on the initiative of the leadership of Confindustria. It was named after the first president of the University, Guido Carli, former Governor of the Bank of Italy and president of Confindustria. It is ranked as the best university in the field of political science in Italy and one of the leading educational institutions in this field in the world.
