Representatives of the National Academy for Public Administration participated in the 32nd annual conference of the Network of Institutions and Schools for Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee). The conference was held in Tbilisi, Georgia, from May 23 to 25, and the main topic was "Public administration in post-conflict reconstruction".
During the conference, NAPA representatives participated in working groups that considered education in public administration and digitization of public administration. They discussed important topics such as female leadership in public administration, the impact of the ability to use artificial intelligence on the employability of students in this field, the needs of civil servants for sustainable development and the use of the "living lab" methodology in developing students' competencies for work in public administration.
The main goal of the conference was to open opportunities for dialogue, exchange of experiences, ideas and examples of good practice in order to improve the quality of public administration, as well as to identify the most important challenges in this area.
The Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee) was founded in 1994 in the Slovak Republic as an international, non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Bratislava. The goal of NISPAcea is to support and improve the efficient management and modernization of public administration in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
