On June 13, the National Academy for Public Administration hosted a conference for the accredited implementers of the Academy entitled "2.0 Trainers - conquer the digital age".
This meeting was a follow-up of the continuous support that the Academy provides to its trainers in order to encourage the constant strengthening of training competencies and thereby ensure the quality of training. Both experienced and newly accredited trainers were present, and they had the opportunity to connect with each other, exchange experiences, and learn about new tools and digital innovations of NAPA training.
Acting Director of NAPA Dejan Miletić stated at the opening of the conference that trainers are the most important resource of the Academy, and the synergy created by this cooperation has produced great and concrete results. Namely, the Academy is only a few hundred from its 100,000th trainee, and the evaluations of the success and usefulness of the training by the trainees are on the rise.
The results of a survey conducted last year, in which NAPA trainers cited the strengthening of their professional reputation and the contribution they provide by spreading knowledge in public administration, as the reasons for getting accredited, speak of this synergy.
After the panel discussion "The Digital Age and the Development of Training Competencies", the participants tried out VR glasses, an interactive screen and other tools that enable the modernization and digitization of training.
This conference was supported by the Hans Seidel Foundation, with which NAPA has many years of fruitful cooperation.
