We are pleased to share our impressions from the successfully delivered master class “Diplomatic Protocol in Practice”, once again organised by the National Academy for Public Administration and led by Duša Barbara Vidanović, a globally recognised expert in contemporary diplomatic protocol, intercultural communication, and business and social etiquette.
The event was formally opened by the Director of the National Academy for Public Administration, Marina Dražić, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of continuous professional development in the fields of diplomatic protocol and intercultural communication as key skills in today’s professional environment.
Through a highly inspiring and content-rich lecture, participants had the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and concrete guidance for applying diplomatic protocol in their everyday professional work. The extensive international experience of Duša Barbara Vidanović and numerous real-life examples once again confirmed how essential confidence in public appearance, understanding of different cultures, and respect for protocol rules are in the public sector.
The strong interest shown and the active discussion among participants demonstrated that programmes of this kind are not only needed but also highly valuable for enhancing professional competencies. We thank all participants for their engagement and contribution.
The master class was delivered with the support of the project “Human Resource Management in Local Self-Government – Phase 3”.
We will continue to build knowledge, skills, and professional standards in public administration.
