The Director of the National Academy for Public Administration, Marina Dražić, met today with Ambassador Marcel Peško, Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia.
During the meeting, the results of the successful cooperation to date were reviewed and priority topics for continuing the partnership in 2026 were discussed, along with modalities for further OSCE support to the development of the public administration system.
Since 2019, the OSCE Mission has supported the National Academy for Public Administration in developing 11 training programmes for civil servants, covering areas such as security management, good governance, labour legislation, the use of minority languages and scripts, as well as the prohibition of discrimination before public authorities and the fight against discrimination against persons with disabilities.
More than 4,000 civil servants have enhanced their knowledge and skills, with over 2,500 participants attending training programmes in 2025 alone. Since 2019, the National Academy for Public Administration has trained more than 150,000 public administration employees.
Ambassador Peško emphasised that the National Academy for Public Administration is one of the key institutions in the process of public administration modernisation and stressed that the OSCE will continue to support the strengthening of professionalism and the capacities of employees.
Director Marina Dražić expressed great satisfaction with the cooperation to date, highlighting the importance of the partnership with the OSCE for improving the quality of training and the further development of the competencies of public administration employees.
