In celebration of the 10th anniversary of implementation of the Law on General Administrative Procedure, the National Academy for Public Administration (NAPA) organized a panel-discussion dedicated to the results, significance, and further development of one of the key laws in the field of public administration.
In her address, NAPA Director Marina Dražić stressed that the Law on General Administrative Procedure is the foundation of legal security and efficient functioning of public administration, whose value is reflected in consistent and professional application in practice.
Snežana Paunović, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, also addressed the gathering, as did Miloš Spirić, judge of the Commercial Court in Belgrade and a member of the Board of Directors of the Serbian Association of Jurists, who emphasized the importance of a professional, efficient, and modern public administration.
It was concluded that, even after ten years, the Law on General Administrative Procedure remains a key instrument of modern public administration, with a noted need for its further enhancement in line with contemporary challenges and the needs of citizens.
