Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee) was established in 1994 and registered in Slovak Republic as an international, non-governmental and non-profit organisation with the headquarters located in Bratislava. The goal of NISPAcee has been to support and strengthen efficient management and modernisation of public administration in Central and Eastern European countries. NISPAcee has been actively organising annual and specialised conferences, trainings, seminars and workshops; organises summer schools and study tours; participates in consortia of different projects; serves as a regional centre of the United Nation Public Administration Network (UNPAN).
National Academy for Public Administration became a member of NISPAcee network in May 2019.
Network of Directors of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration (DISPA) was established in 1995. Since 1997, the member state holding the rotating Presidency of the Council of the EU has usually organised a DISPA meeting. The European School of Administration is also associated, notably to contribute to coordinating the network’s activities and ensuring a degree of continuity. From the establishment of the network, he DISPA members have been set up various joint activities and discussed common topics such as public administration reform, professional development programmes, new training methods, public service ethics, evaluation of trainings and professional development programmes.
National Academy for Public Administration became a member of DISPA network in June 2018 at the meeting in Sofia during Bulgarian Presidency.
OECD Global Network of Schools of Government
Global Network of Schools of Government of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) was established in 2014 in response to the growing recognition that an efficient public sector is essential for stimulating economic growth and social welfare. The main goals of the network are to strengthen the links between the institutions engaged in human resource management in public sector and exchange of experience between the institutions in implementing good practices in professional development of civil servants.
National Academy for Public Administration became a member of OECD Global Network of Schools of Government in September 2018 at the Sixth Annual Meeting of the network held in Helsinki, Finland.
