Acting Director of the National Academy for Public Administration Marina Dražić and Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Dejan Damnjanović signed early today a Memorandum of Cooperation which deepens the existing cooperation in order to improve the work of both institutions.
The National Academy and the Agency are committed to building a system of constant mutual cooperation through the establishment of a proactive approach in the field of prevention and fight against corruption in accordance with the strategic documents of the Republic of Serbia. The common goal is the effective application and control of the implementation of positive regulations in this domain, according to the highest international standards and in accordance with the regulations, especially those that regulate professional development in public administration.
"Until now, the Academy has been very committed to the fight against corruption and the prevention of its consequences." So far, more than 4,500 employees have attended 130 trainings in this area. However, the joint task of the Agency and the National Academy is to continuously build a culture of ethics and integrity among employees. With this memorandum, our cooperation is deepened with the aim of creating a more transparent and responsible system, which will encourage citizens' trust in the institutions," said Mrs. Dražić on this occasion.
"The exchange of information and experience of the Agency and the National Academy is of mutual interest when we organize various events and gatherings, when exchanging data relevant for research and the preparation of reports in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Prevention of Corruption, the Law on Financing Political Activities, the Law on Lobbying, the Law on Personal Data Protection, and the Law on Data Secrecy" - concluded the Director of the Agency, Mr. Damnjanović.
