The National Academy took part in the annual meeting of the OECD Network of Schools of Public Administration, which was held from 28 - 29 May 2024 in the United Arab Emirates.
This network is of global nature and the meeting was attended by representatives of over 20 countries from all over the world, and NAPA's representative at this meeting was Assistant Director Dejan Raketić.
The meeting was held in cooperation with the Muhammad bin Rashid School of Administration from Dubai, which also hosted the meeting. The main topic of this year's meeting was the Transformation of the public sector conditioned by technological progress and the emergence of artificial intelligence. It was considered through three perspectives: the transformation of the management, the transformation of the workforce that will have to master new skills, and the transformation of the professional training system.
During the meeting, the participants also visited the Museum of the Future in Dubai, where they could get to know first-hand the impressive achievements in the field of robotics and digitalization.
The OECD's global network of national schools of administration provides a unique platform for the exchange of experience and good practice that ensures that public sector employees have the skills and competences to respond to current and future priorities. The National Academy became a member of the OECD Global Network of National Schools of Administration in August 2018 at the invitation of the Network Secretariat.
