The National Academy for Public Administration is this year's winner of the "Transparency in Communication" award, which was presented on Friday, 15 March 2024, at the 21st International PRO PR Conference on Public Relations.
This conference has been the leading PR event in the region for 21 years, and this year it gathered 200 experts from 16 countries, including the United States of America, South African Republic, Great Britain and Iran.
The award was received during the PRO PR Globe Awards ceremony by Mr Dejan Miletić, Acting Director of the National Academy for Public Administration. This award was given to the Academy as a public administration institution of the Republic of Serbia that promotes the importance of education for public administration employees, with an emphasis on public relations, and thus brings together international and domestic experts.
Although a young institution in the public administration system of the Republic of Serbia, this is the second recognition for transparency in the work of the National Academy in its 6 years of existence. The previous recognition was handed over by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Protection of Personal Data and concerns the promotion of the right to free access to information. Continuity in awards is a confirmation of the Academy's continuous efforts to train employees in relevant and current areas, while also ensuring transparency and integrity of operation.
