The National Academy for Public Administration and the National Institute for Public Administration of Romania (INA) organized mutual study visits of officials in order to exchange experiences, knowledge and examples of good practice in connection with the preparation, development, implementation and evaluation of professional training programmes for employees in the public administration of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Romania respectively.
Representatives of the National Academy stayed in Bucharest on a three-day visit to the Romanian Institute on 7-9 November, where they had a unique opportunity to learn about the work of the Romanian institute, but also to attend INAEXPO, a conference dedicated to the cooperation of the private and public sectors and common views on energy-efficient, digital and active management. The emphasis was on learning about specialized long-term training programmes for senior managers as well as with short-term training programmes. During the cordial meetings, experiences were exchanged, especially regarding the preparation and evaluation of the programme, as well as the way of evaluating the lecturers themselves.
Representatives of the Romanian Institute made a return visit to the Academy in the period from December 12 to 14, 2022. Colleagues from Romania had the opportunity to get acquainted with the process of conducting research on the needs for professional training and the process of developing training programmes, and then with the implementation of various types of training. In addition, they were introduced to the e-learning platform of the National Academy. The second day of the visit was dedicated to international cooperation, project management and communication. The guests were interested in learning more about the projects implemented by the National Academy and shared their experience in that field with the hosts.
Through mutual visits, NAPA and INA Romania confirmed the strengthening of the fruitful and successful cooperation, which is also reflected in the cooperation agreement signed in 2019.
