Acting Director of the National Academy for Public Administration Dejan Miletić had a meeting with the President of the Bulgarian Institute for Public Administration (IPA) Pavel Ivanov on Thursday, November 24.
In an extremely cordial atmosphere, the two directors exchanged experiences in training employees in the public administration of Serbia and Bulgaria respectively, but also considered possibilities to intensify the existing cooperation. To the great satisfaction of both institutions, concrete steps towards deepening cooperation were agreed upon, primarily through the prism of the exchange of coaches announced for the next year, 2023. The exchange at this level represents a significant common step towards a more efficient and versatile raising of the professional capacities of civil servants.
The Institute for Public Administration of the Republic of Bulgaria was founded in 2000 as part of the administrative reform carried out for the purpose of joining the European Union. Almost since its foundation, NAPA has maintained friendly ties with the Institute through bilateral cooperation and joint membership in several regional and European networks.
