The Director of NAPA, Marina Dražić, met today with representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Youth and the GIZ project “Perspectives for Youth in Rural Areas in Serbia.”
The meeting with Ivana Antonijević, Assistant Minister, and her colleagues focused on coordinating the joint implementation of a multi-month Professional Development Programme for Youth Coordinators across the Republic of Serbia. This programme is intended for coordinators of Youth Offices, i.e., individuals within local self-government units responsible for youth affairs.
This joint initiative by the Ministry of Tourism and Youth and NAPA, with support from GIZ, is part of Serbia’s ongoing and systematic investment in youth development as a strategic national priority. The ultimate goal is to create a supportive environment for a high quality of life for young people—promoting equal and active participation in social life and the development of personal potential, with a special focus on rural areas in Serbia.
