Members of the Team for Cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, led by NAPA Assistant Director Snežana Antonijević, held two meetings with representatives of the United Arab Emirates Government delegation: Khaled Elgouhari, Mariam Alloways and Fatma Albana. The meetings were held with the aim to implement the Action Plan for capacity building and to initiate the cooperation provided for in the Memorandum on the Exchange of Experiences on the Development and Modernization of the Government.
As part of the first of two meetings held, with the topic of Online Self-Assessment Tools, the UAE delegation shared tools for self-assessment of the competencies of officials in management positions (leaders) that they use within the Leaders Programme, after which the NAPA team presented the online tools that they apply in their work
The second meeting of representatives of the Academy with the UAE delegation was held on the topic of Development of online training. On this occasion, representatives of the Academy presented the process of creating and publishing online trainings, while both delegations presented training inserts that are located on their learning platforms. Also, this meeting opened up the possibility of potential exchange of resources and conducting trainings on topics of general importance.
Memorandum on the Exchange of Experiences on the Development and Modernization of the Government was signed on 12th May this year. It envisages the exchange of knowledge and experience in nine areas, including artificial intelligence, creative industry, digital economy, e-governance and science. The meetings of NAPA representatives and the UAE delegation mark the beginning of the implementation of joint projects aimed at modernizing and strengthening the capacities of the public administration of the Republic of Serbia.
