The world's leading experts in the field of project management are staying in Belgrade from 19 to 21 June 2022, in order to participate in the 10th IPMA Research Conference, which is held at the premises of the National Academy for Public Administration, titled “Value Co-creation in the Project Society”. The event is attended by over 200 participants from more than 30 countries, as well as by editors of the three best-ranked scientific journals in the world.
The Conference is organized by IPMA (International Project Management Association), which consists of members from more than 70 countries, in cooperation with the Serbian Project Management Association – IPMA Serbia and the National Academy for Public Administration, which is hosting IPMA Conferences for the fourth year in a row. The organization of the event was supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and the global publishing house Elsevier.
The event was opened by Joop Schefferlie, President of IPMA, and prof. Vladimir Obradović, PhD, President of IPMA Serbia. The participants were greeted by prof. Dejan Miletić, PhD, Acting Director of NAPA, followed by speeches by renowned experts Muthu De Silva, PhD, and Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez.
The three-day programme of the Conference includes panels, workshops, round tables and presentations of scientific papers. For the Republic of Serbia, the topics "Project Management in the Public Sector" and "Sustainable Project Management" are of particular importance.
In addition to the aforementioned, a special event was organized for students - Hackdays 2022, on the topic of climate change, circular economy, e-government, project management in healthcare, and many other topics.
