STARTING INTER-INSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION WITH ISRAEL

The management team of the Academy, led by acting director Dejan Miletić, held an initial meeting with representatives of the Israeli State Administration Committee, led by the director of Israel's National School for Leadership, Governance & Management, Mr Omri Dagan.

The meeting was held thanks to the fact that both Serbian and Israeli institutions are part of the OECD's Global Network of Schools of Government (NSG).

The meeting of the representatives of the two institutions took the first steps towards inter-institutional cooperation in the field of developing training programmes for senior civil servants since the programmes of the Israeli National School are primarily intended for senior civil servants.

The Israel National School of Leadership, Governance and Management is under the jurisdiction of the State of Israel Civil Service Committee, the institution that manages the employment of civil servants in that country. Its main functions include managing the standards of government ministries and appointing employees.
