The National Academy for Public Administration successfully organized a gathering of accredited trainers as part of its mission to support professional development and facilitate the exchange of experiences among its collaborators. The event was held with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
In her address to the attending trainers, Director of the Academy Marina Dražić emphasized the importance of the event, noting that the Academy is the home for all accredited trainers, and that the primary goal is to connect experienced and newly accredited colleagues. "Your success is our success as well, and our mutual support and cooperation will enable us to continue growing and developing in the future," said Dražić.
The trainers had the opportunity to exchange experiences and present ideas for improving future calls and training programmes. Goran Tijanić, from NAPA’s Accreditation Department, presented a review of the internal call results, highlighting successful examples, which sparked a discussion on future improvement opportunities.
Jelena Marjanović, who works on training development at NAPA, spoke about new procedures and tools for evaluating participants' knowledge and skills, emphasizing the importance of consistent application of these methods.
Snežana Antonijević, Assistant Director of the Academy, shared her insights during a discussion with trainers on developmental monitoring, the importance of new approaches in this process, past experiences, and plans for 2025.
Topics discussed at the round tables included challenges encountered during training delivery, such as training effectiveness, the impact of trainers on participants, and the importance of emotional intelligence in training approaches.
The National Academy for Public Administration continues to work on strengthening professional competencies and improving public administration in Serbia, with partnerships like the one with the Hanns Seidel Foundation playing a vital role in achieving these goals.
