The Director of NAPA, Marina Dražić, took part in the conference titled “The Link Between Public Sector Performance and Employee Well-Being,” held in the capital of Romania. The host of this event was the National Institute of Administration of Romania, with which the Academy has a long-standing partnership. Directors and senior representatives of public administration bodies from nine countries also contributed to the conference.
In addition to Serbia, the organizers welcomed public administration representatives from Portugal and Moldova, as well as from regional countries including Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, and Montenegro. Throughout the sessions, participants discussed the results of research on public servants' satisfaction and motivation levels, as well as the experiences of each country in this area. Colleagues from Portugal shared their insights on indicators that best reflect employee well-being and the connection between job satisfaction and performance.
Discussions also addressed the importance of developing "soft" skills in the context of leadership, as well as potential future joint projects among peer institutions that will support the exchange of best practices.
