Today, a joint meeting of the Programme Council and the Permanent Programme Commissions of the National Academy for Public Administration (NAPA) was held on the Academy's premises.
At the beginning of the meeting, Director Marina Dražić greeted the members of these advisory bodies, prominent experts in public administration, expressing confidence that the joint activities at the regular meetings of these bodies will contribute to the further growth and affirmation of the Academy.
The Programme Council is the main professional body of the National Academy for Public Administration, consisting of the president and 14 members. The president and six members of the Programme Council are appointed from the ranks of civil servants, one member is appointed from the ranks of employees in the autonomous province authorities, one member is appointed from the members of the Council for Professional Development in Local Self-Government, and six members are appointed from among experts in areas relevant to public administration.
The Permanent Programme Commissions of NAPA, which meet on a monthly basis, consist of qualified experts in relevant thematic areas and employees of the National Academy. The commissions determine the development guidelines for thematic areas such as: trainer training, public administration management, management of international development aid and EU funds, public finance, e-Government and digitalization, and propose improvements in line with the identified needs for professional development.
The members of these advisory bodies are invaluable support for the Academy's work and a guarantee of the quality of the Academy's activities.
