On Friday, 10 March 2023, the National Academy for Public Administration has signed an Agreement on Cooperation with the Bulgarian Institute of Public Administration (IPA). The Agreement was signed on behalf of IPA by its president, Pavel Ivanov, and on behalf of the National Academy for Public Administration by its acting director, Dejan Miletić.
The signed document represents the intensification of cooperation between the two friendly institutions and, to mutual satisfaction, represents a joint step towards a more efficient and versatile strengthening of professional capacities of civil servants of Serbia and Bulgaria.
The acting director of NAPA, Dejan Miletić, has said on that occasion that the two institutions have already developed communication which has led to vibrant cooperation, and that this cooperation is now framed by laying the foundations for all progressive joint goals which will be achieved in the near future.
The Institute of Public Administration of the Republic of Bulgaria was founded in 2000 as part of the administrative reform carried out in order to accede to the European Union. Ever since its foundation, NAPA has maintained friendly ties with IPA through bilateral cooperation and joint membership in several regional and European networks.
