The Assistant Director of the National Academy for Public Administration, Dejan Raketić, has attended the OECD's Global Network of Schools of Government Annual Meeting, which was held in Athens on 20 and 21 June 2022, with the support of the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKKDA) with which NAPA has a signed Cooperation Agreement.
At the meeting in Athens, the members of the network have focused on the results of research conducted during the pandemic, on the role of schools in strengthening capacities for leadership and resilience in times of crisis, on the implementation and evaluation of new learning methods, and on promoting a culture of lifelong learning in public administration. Bearing in mind the importance of positioning NAPA on the relevant international scene, the participation of the Assistant Director of NAPA at the meeting is an opportunity to establish direct cooperation with representatives of related institutions which are members of this network.
The National Academy for Public Administration became a member of the OECD's Global Network of Schools of Government in August 2018, at the invitation of the Network's Secretariat. The said network provides a unique platform for sharing experiences and good practices which ensures that public sector employees have the skills and competencies to respond to current and future priorities.
