The National Academy for Public Administration and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation establishing the foundations for a long-term partnership in strengthening the professional capacities of civil servants and improving the protection system for refugees and asylum seekers in Serbia.
This cooperation will lead to the development of joint training programmes, digital materials and online courses that will enable public officials to enhance their knowledge and skills in the areas of asylum, international protection and human rights. The goal is to ensure professional, fair and humane treatment of all those in need of protection.
By signing the Memorandum, NAPA and UNHCR jointly reaffirm their commitment to building a competent and inclusive public administration that understands the challenges of modern society and operates in line with the highest international standards.
Together, we are building an administration that provides support, understanding and hope to those who need protection the most.
