MINISTER OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT PAYS OFFICIAL VISIT TO NAPA

17 June 2025

The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Snežana Paunović, paid her first official visit today to the National Academy for Public Administration (NAPA), where she met with the Academy’s Director, Marina Dražić.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation, with particular attention to joint initiatives implemented at the local level. Both sides underscored the importance of these activities for strengthening the capacities of local self-governments and improving the quality of services delivered to citizens.

Minister Paunović emphasized the key role of NAPA as a cornerstone institution in the professional development of public administration employees and a vital partner in supporting reform processes at all levels. She reaffirmed the Ministry’s full commitment to continuing its support for the Academy’s efforts moving forward.

Director Dražić welcomed the Minister’s visit and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing cooperation with the Ministry, noting that such support is essential to fulfilling NAPA’s mission—building a professional, efficient, and citizen-focused public administration.

The visit concluded in a constructive atmosphere, with both parties agreeing on concrete steps to further develop and expand their joint activities.
